15th Annual Golf Recap - 2025 Edition
West Point, NY | September 8, 2025
The 15th Annual West Point Wrestling Club Golf Scramble presented by Spartan Combat and Decisive Point goes down in history as an incredible and unforgettable day.
I’ll start by quoting the opening line from the 2024 Golf Scramble recap:
“Another great weekend of golf, fellowship, shared passion for Army Wrestling ... and yes, more rain! This year the rain held off for the first 15 holes, but then the skies opened up.”
… we had a repeat performance from Mother Nature this past Saturday. The same 15 holes, the same thunderstorm and then a beeline for safe harbor in the clubhouse. Regardless, our golfers showed true grit and sportsmanship and had a blast playing our on-course games, meeting our wrestlers and mingling at both the Zulu Social and during the Golf awards dinner. It was fantastic to see numerous families join us at the Zulu and at the dinner. We are truly building a community of support behind our wrestlers.

1st Place: Team Meytrott – Allan, Parker, Connor and Taylor
2nd Place: PA Hammers - Rob Shirley, Steve Audet, Chris Chichilitti and Chris Carver
3rd Place: Florida Sunshine - Dr. Nick, Robert Stringer, Paul Pecaro and Roger Self
We also had the privilege of awarding a Hole in One prize to Doug Anderson for his Ace on Hole #16. Well done Doug!
