Go Green's Notes from Post

Hey guys,

A lot going on - even in the dead heat of summer. 

I'm sending this note from Fargo, ND where Coach Bleise, VRB and myself are attending the biggest HS event in the nation looking for new Black Knights.  

Coach Lamont has assimilated into coaching life seamlessly and is working with many of our guys who are on post for STAP this summer.

Coach Ward is on the road recruiting.  

No one is missing a beat after a crazy camp season- we are lucky to have the work and we are making the most of it.

Rogers Joins RTC

If you have noticed some improvement in our large mammals recently, some of the credit might belong to Mike Rogers.  He officially comes on board as an RTC athlete this month.  Mike was a Junior WT member and 2x Prep National Champ for me at Wyoming Seminary and has been a multiple time Greco AA while training at NLWC the past few years.  It is good to have a big body in the room.  Thanks for helping us continue to surround our cadets with high quality wrestlers training at the top of their game.

A big shout out to our guy in SID, Austin Pert, for updating our record book.  I enjoyed digging into this and I'm sure it will bring back some memories for you guys

Olympic Training Center

Lucas had a good trip out to the OTC earlier this summer and he is headed back there Aug 11-19.  As a result of our success in Geneva and Colombia, USAW is taking notice of our efforts and has offered some of our guys and coaches the chance to participate in that camp as well.  We are thrilled to be building relationships with the national Freestyle Staff that will pay dividends for years to come!Any and all donations in support of getting our guys to Colorado Springs can be directed here:
