Go Green's Notes from Post

We are in BUILD mode!

The golf event is always one of my favorite weekends of the year as it is great to see our current cadets connecting with all of the alumni and supporters.  The vibes on the links really speak to the bonds that are formed within this program, and this year did not disappoint.

Thanks to everyone who played, sponsored, bid in the auction, volunteered or supported in any way.

We are in such a good spot.  We have been consistently in the top 25 as a team and have beaten navy 7 of the last 11 duals.

We have had individuals from the team win conference titles, win big matches at Nationals, and make the podium at the NCAA.

We have had cadets AND RTC members make world teams, win international medals and national titles.

We set several records for home attendance and are regularly in the top 20 in the nation in that regard.

We have built a strong ecosystem around this program with many supportive and engaged alumni and boosters.

But we want more.

We hope you can help us get to the next level.  Personally, I am grateful for the opportunity I had to work with Coach Ward in my first 4 years in the Hudson Valley.  I'm even more fired up to help to usher in the Troy Nickerson era, which begins SOON on the mat.

We are rolling out our Donor Incentive Initiative today.  Please sign up.  If you are already involved, please jump a level so that we can do the same.

I'll be highlighting some additions to the club on our club social media soon.  We are thrilled to have built several partnerships that will be great resources for our athletes but understand that we have some miles to cover. We are chasing Lehigh- who has a full time salaried RTC Coach and 4 full time resident athletes.  We are competing with the Navy Wrestling Club, who has a full time Club Coach and 3 resident athletes.  We are where we are because we are good at what we do, and we have some dedicated part time and volunteer "staff" who are passionate about the mission we have all undertaken together.

It's working, but we are ALL capable of SO MUCH more. I'[m excited about what is next for this program.  We hope you are too.
